while visiting.... curious

while we are in town the first part of this week, I'm interested to now where the best Mexican food is and karaoke?

All depends on what part of town you're staying in but I thoroughly enjoy Tony's and also El Tiempo.

But there are so many good Mexican spots in Houston it's hard to go wrong with finding a good one.

As far as Karaoke goes I've been known to drop a few bars at Howl at the Moon and R Bar once or twice LOL.

Staying in the Galleria area... I've heard good things about Tony's already!

I'm a karaoke junkie!!!! I might try one tonight and another tomorrow.... unless someone wants to keep me busy, I'll stay in and sing! LOL

Oh hell yeah Karaoke can be a blast. One day I hope to find three more friends willing to throw down on Planet Rock by Afrika Bambaataa and the Soul Sonic Force in full costume. We would tear up the stage and become Karaoke legends in our own minds LOL.

Dress up Karaoke does sound like it could be a really kick ass time. That would be fun. I'll have to see if anyone does it around here.
Although I could see some songs being dangerous with the props. Janie's Got a Gun comes to mind immediately LOL.

Spotlight Karaoke (5901 Westheimer) shouldn't be too far from you and it's been pretty fun the last couple times we've gone.
