Sesta fosta idea

Hey guys. We should all open Twitter or Facebook or even Snapchat accounts in our stage names and start adding each other to keep in contact. Thoughts???
I thought about everyone communicating on snapchat.

I liked Snapchat at first. But with the change it made to its format I don’t like it anymore.

I hate to break it to you, but social media sites and micro-blogging networks like Twitter are unlikely to be safe once SESTA/FOSTA becomes law. As stated in another thread:

Yes, for the ladies starting out on Twitter, be aware that Twitter has for the past few months been preemptively putting "shadowbans" (where they don't outright delete your account, but prevent you from being found on searches, etc.) on accounts that are too sexually explicit, so make sure to try and keep your posts PG if you can. Of course we don't need to be open about being an escort of John. It would be just a way for evryone to keep in touch.

I figured Snapchat was ok since there are ladies on there selling naked snaps

Hmm, my allergy medicine may be making me a wee bit paranoid. The microwave seems to be glaring at me, I'm downright afraid of the can opener, and I have suspicions that the toaster is plotting a takeover with the Smart TV and the programmable tea pot.

They have been shutting down social media accounts for some time that have anything to do with adult business, cam girls, etc.

This is why I have never bothered with it.

You can believe they will become even more vigilant with it now, and even if Fancy may have a touch of paranoia (which I don't think you do), she is still correct. They have been saying in news articles pertaining to SESTA that sites will set up filters searching for certain terms and start automatically blocking/deleting.

I see girls on her trying to run and set up social media and trade social media info but I am afraid it will be a wasted effort.

Nope, not a good idea.

Just my two cents: Anything you do on a site is traceable to some extent, especially if its FB or a site owned by them or another company. Hence the reason on FB you may see "people you may know" popping up who are clients/providers you have seen. That info gets shared back and forth. My thoughts are to use something like Google Voice. Yeah I know, part of Google. But you can use a burner email account and a VPN (think that's what it's called), and conduct business thought that. If necessary you can change the number or even delete the account if necessary, then crank up a new one. I know there are a lot of 'yeah, but's..." to it.

One certain thing about the new laws -- assuming they are upheld by the courts -- U.S. based companies will be way more vulnerable to LE warrants and subpoenas than foreign based.

Of course, the new laws supposedly can extend U.S. authority over foreign based companies, but imo, many foreign governments will resist that as a matter of course, since if they accept U.S. LE on P4P sex sites -- aside from trafficking or underage or child porn -- the governments will be vulnerable to LE or U.S. Gov trampling all over foreign companies and individuals.

While obviously sex crimes are illegal in Great Britain, for example, prostitution is not. Pimping and pandering are illegal, sex ads by individuals are not illegal, nor are sex ad websites. Ditto for the European Union.
