TOB is down ... again.

I can't get it to work right now. Up and down

I have no idea of how it would happen, but maybe some motivated person could form a Yahoo Group for providers and hobbyist as a back-up plan and way to keep in touch? I recently joined one for a group in the midwest (Nebraska). Certainly a Denver group could be formed?

The ladies in my opionon should be diversifying their reviews so to speak. It keeps coming back up, but it is happening way too often now.

Cool, I'll form a yahoo group. I may even do a forum if I research it right!

Any ideas when it will be back up or how save our reviews from there?

It was just up for awhile when I went on I was the only one on the board. LOL, it dropped out again.

All of the review I submitted there were first prepared in a word document and I have all them saved on my HD. I've been submitting dual reviews to TOB and ECCIE for some time now.

@Marie and all the ladies. It might make sense to save all your reviews if and when TOB ever comes back up. Printing to PDF might be the only way. Tedious, but it works.

Like Justin and Geecue alluded to, I review in multiple places. Not sure WHY we can't build up the Colorado forum like TOB. I know TOB is our main local board, but (to me) we need more participants (ladies and gents) here to make this a viable alternative!

Well hopefully it will not go down for good, but it is happening alot lately. It has been down almost all day today.

Yeah it sucks when reviews are only getting posted once or maybe twice a week. I think all of us need to get on the same page. Probably will take the providers advertising some where else. The clients will surely follow.

It's hard to say how much of TOBs problems are related to the absence of the Admin (TO) or to plain old bad luck and a hardware issue.

I've noticed lately it has gotten very slow. Lack of maintenance? I have no direct experience in these matters.

To correct SoCO1968, there is no and never has been advertising on TOB. EsscortBoards (the advertising venue) is running just fine. The void that TOB's demise will bring is the loss of the extensive review database.

I am fully aware of how to set up a new forum now. That would place me in admin duties LOL. I posted on TOB that guys should review elsewhere, because god forbid anything happens to Mace (sweetheart), we would be starting back at zero. Not cool for us that work hard for our reviews and that are quality providers. JMO
