Backpage shut down

Well our govt. has won for now and managed to get Backpage to shut down their adult services section. Gotta love how moralists have to live everybody elses lives for them. Backpage was actually a good way to catch and prosecute the scum that trafficked people, especially minors. And now it is shut down. Sad day for a lot of hobbyists and providers that relied on Backpage.

It could have remained open but he is taking his money and running.

Can there be a megathread or a stickied thread for actual discussion? We don't need 200 threads with 4 or 5 posts talking about Backpage being shut down.
