Hi All! Looking 4 Cool Nashville Activities as a First Timer

Hey, hope everyone is well! I'm arriving in Nashville noon tomorrow (Sunday 2/8) and leaving first thing Thursday. Since I'm low volume, I plan to have lots of down time to check this amazing city out, but have no clue where to begin! I've gotten some food/activity/music suggestions from a few people and I'm sure I'll talk to my hotel concierge, but any advice is appreciated! I posted a similar thread in Austin about finding an authentic scene for live music and weekend excursions outside the city which proved to be very fruitful. Everyone was proud of their city and eager to share their insights, including clients and providers alike. I've at least received, and taken to heart, the sage advice that I absolutely need a rental car to get around, so I'll have freedom of mobility and am open to areas a little further afield once I check out the must see downtown stuff and a BBQ joint/music venue or two.

If you're up for a burger and have a rental car, check out the Pharmacy Burger Parlor & Beer Garden. For nightlife, just walk around Broadway and 2nd Avenue and pick just about any loud bar. The live music is usually good anywhere here! There are a few famous places like Tootsies, Bluebird, and Wildhorse, but you can't go wrong just about anywhere you pick!

I'd volunteer to meet you, but my hobby funds are running low. Good luck, be safe, and have fun! Also, come back again!
