How long? I know someone selling a Toyota 4 Runner for only $750. Cheaper than a rental, even if it only lasts 4 months.

20 years old, AC works, 250K miles. Runs well.
Well ideally looking to pay 200 to 300 weekly

If you take any large lump of cash to a tote-a-note place they will put you in something. Usually 1k-2500 will get you into anything on a lot. They tend to have little jack boxes on them to shut off/locate the car if you don't pay, so they work with almost anyone willing to hand over cash.

So if you go with an inexpensive enough choice you can have it paid off in a month instead of being without $800-$1200 and still needing a car.
