Wichita Falls The Misplaced City

When I Search it on here It shows up all over the place from OKC,, Dallas and North East Texas? I think it shows up in West Texas too not that West Texas needs another City on it's long list of cities with not even 1 side forum.

Wichita Falls and Beaumont Texas are the 2 most misplaced cities on this board.
6 1/2 hrs from each other but hell El Paso id damn near 7 hrs from Amarillo and they are both considered just West Texas.. lol

Wichita Falls is a shithole.

Only good enough for stopping to get gas, a quick bite and back on the road. Beyond that, you're not missing a damn thing there.

plus it gets hotter there than most places in northern half of texas.

when dallas had a string of 70+ days of 100+degree temps back in 1980, WF had way more hotter days.

how come those falls dont help cool things down up there??

1973 experienced a complete shut out.

There is a reason they call their 100 mile bicycle race the Hotter Than Hell 100. Cyclists from all over the world enter. Tough 1 day event.
General Chung, thank you for the Utube link.

Glad I never did, looking back in hindsight. I might not be here today otherwise.
