exactly why i have moved all my checking and credit card accounts to a small community bank here in plano. i cancelled my Chase banking accounts, my Citibank Visa, and any others i had with these large financial institutions. and i encourage all to do so. but hey... it's an individual choice. one can continue to support those poor poor underpaid execs at Chase, Citibank, JPMorgan, etc. I choose not to.
btw... even these small community banks are FDIC insured. so no worries.
