The rumor is Tarrant county said get it going or sell the property.
Drove by Sunday 07/24 and someone was on the roof servicing the AC units! Looks like two large storage containers on the West side of the building. Maybe new decor……?

From what I gather and yes we have heard before. The inside is being remodeled and a bar will be in the middle with stages built around it. Who knows what it will look like inside but does sound like it might be opening again sometime soon.
I see activity everytime I drive past. Something is going on. Hopefully soon

Mayhaps they will put in a VIP section. No more 'fort' building...

Good news! I hope it re-opens. This stinky little place was my first strip club visit in 1989 at age 18. Lots of good times had there.
On my to work and back the back door was open with car parked beside the door. This was over 8 hours, wondering if the place has water damage from all the rain and they were airing the place out. Also in the morning saw the Babydolls sign truck parked at the side where the containers are.
One evening this week, I saw the sign on outside. I assume to see what to repairs it needs

I drove back down 157 today towards the airport and saw about 8 cars out front. Both doors were open and from the little I could see looked like the place has been gutted.

Saw a lot of construction action on Friday 8/26. Pulled in parking lot and saw a man in a shirt with Baby doll emblem and he told me estimated reopening in November.

I'm hearing December now for a opening of Bdfw. They are rewiring the whole club and the bar will be up top close to the DJ booth. Seems they have asked bartenders and staff who will be working in Ft Worth once they open.

I'm happy to hear there is action on reopening. Once we lose a club we'll never get it back because the permit won't ever be reissued.

But, a big part of the value at this tiny, tiny run-down club was that there was no cover and only moderate enforcement of drink minimums. Can't help but wonder how high the cover will be after a major remodel.
