Post Ho's......Love 'em or hate 'em......And what's your take on ECCIE?

Didn't even realize it till one of the members PM'd and mentioned I was at post #1999.....With this threAD, that makes it post #2000!!!!! YEEAAAAHHHHH!!!

Ahhh.....the great sense of accomplishment I DO NOT feel..... . The amount of fucks you DO NOT give...... . 2000 posts.......heh, that's nothing by today's standards.....

What category(ies) of Post Ho do you fall under?

1) Having an opinion on every topic and sticking your nose into everyone else's business? (Or perhaps you prefer to believe it's informing and sharing info)

2) Doing the quick "Welcome", "Damn!!", "You're cute" comments in the WW and reviews section?

3) Taking it step further from 1).........herding the cats on ECCIE to create the ideal community you envisioned?

4) Posting pictures for every provider whenever the situation allows, may it be in the ML, reviews or WW?

5) Trolling, clowning, flirting, drooling and/or fooling around?

6) Don't give a damn what tactic is used, as long as you're climbing towards ranking as a top poster on the ECCIE homepage?

I'd think ideally, increased board participation should be encouraged and with proper mediation, we have multitude opinions for every topic. Balance in the discussions shift all the time, when there are more/less outspoken personas championing a certain agenda.

The best discussions I've enjoyed are the ones where equally outspoken personas of dissenting views share their own insights, without letting the discussion degenerate into personal attacks. It's boring if everyone agrees all the time, or keeps quiet for not wanting to offend a "friend". Heck, even if everyone shares the same views, it doesn't hurt to play the devil's advocate once in a while just to widen your perspective....

Personally, I treat this board as a learning platform......it's not just a SHMB for hookers to earn money and for johns to cure blue balls.

What's your take on Escort Client Community Information Exchange? Yes, it's been discussed multiple times before......just thought it could be time to revisit the topic......seeing how it's the start of a new year.

I should clarify that I'm looking for input with regards to board participation. Not just about how you use it, but also what you think about the views that are represented here.

- the biases that are inherent in certain discussion topics

- the swaying of public perception to achieve certain agendas, either for selfish purposes or favoring certain demographics

- freedom of expression or lack thereof.....Ie. the need of providers to maintain a certain image in the eyes of hobbyists, taboo topics such as requesting for bbfs

- pursuing personal vendettas......Ie. rumor mongering, review faking, name smearing

- how you wish certain things would be different and how it could improve

- etc.

Pretty broad subject.....

We have different agendas, and employ different means of achieving them. I see it as nothing more as board personas who are very effective in achieving their goals, as long as you can look past the ways through which they accomplish them.......which you should, ideally.

The only gripe I have is I often wonder if most the of the outspoken members truly share the same views on every issue. If they'd express disagreements more often or share different points of views, I'd be more receptive to the ideas as original. Perhaps people's thoughts converge when they discuss issues like this when they hang out together, outside of the boards.

I feel a bulk of the responsibility lies with those who don't speak up their minds, because they either take things too personally or feel intimidated a little too easily. I'd like to think that I'm unaffiliated with any particular groups, and I'll speak my mind on any topic regardless of who shares the view. If you disagree, lay out your arguments and I'll lay mine ......and if we can't agree at the end of the day.....move on and agree to disagree.....no biggie..... . It's not about winning or losing.....

It's great to have someone to debate with and bounce ideas off.......good opportunity to understand ourselves and allows you to broaden your horizons.....

^^^^ Classic number 1 syndrome.

<--------- takes number 5 only because 3 and 4 require to much work, 2 makes you look desperate and I refuse to say welcome to some of the pimps pretending to be a new provider introducing themselves.
