Mocospace chat

The "near me" chat rooms seem to be gone. I did not see an announcement anywhere. Does anyone know the back story to this? You can still search profiles by area, but the "near me" area is where the ladies would advertise.

I think this may be more of a settings problem on your pc. Because I'm haivng the same problem, but I can access the "near me" forums on my phone?

If you figure it out, let me know.

I emailed their support people, and it turns out that they no longer offer the "Near me" to PC users, just mobile.

Could you describe how to do that?

With Chrome:
1. Click Menu (it is the little icon that looks like 3 horizontal bars on the right of the address bar)
2. Click Tools and then Developer Tools. (2 bars will open up at the bottom)
3. On the bottom right of your window click the icon that looks like a gear.
4. Click the Overrides tab at the bottom.
5. Click the User Agent check box, and then select the browser you would like to seem to be using. (I use iPad IOS 5.)

For Firefox download a add-on like User Agent Switcher to help you do it.

I don't use IE so I don't know.

I tried the method you described for chrome and got no love. Did it work for you?

What I did is download Opera mobile emulator. Then you can put it as a android phone and get back in chat. Works ok sometimes it doesnt refresh fast enough. Hope that helps some.
