Why are the dangers of BBBJ's & DATY under-appreciated?

Approaching it from a medical view, there are dangers with all of this, and almost all of us wouldn't even think about going BB, but aren't the risks of getting something permanent from BBBJ's and/or DATY a bit under mentioned, making them seem a bit unlikely...?

I realize there is an increased likelihood of getting something from a $30 crack fiend vs. a $600 provider, but as a rule providers only see men who are the types of men who see providers And as we all know, there's almost nobody who sees a provider and then never sees a provider again. So who's to say Mr. executive who sees $500 Jane Doe on Tuesday wont/didn't have a $50 "opportunity" on his way back to his hotel room while he was away last weekend?

When someone in porn gets something it's tracked, and even becomes a national story; how often does (or would) someone who gets something from a provider report or publicize it, so that we could even roughly gauge the chances and dangers...?

I don't want to put providers or hobbyists in any bad light, (hey, I'm here too) I'm just wondering if it's crossed anyone else's mind and what the real risks are, and how real or unlikely they are.

Yeah...because this topic hasn't been overdone enough already...
Did you copy paste this from TER? Lol...
Just be smart.
Get tested regularly.

I'm more concerned about ladies who will flip a condom that was put on inside out than anything to be honest...

Society is trying to condition us to believe that there is a boogeyman in every corner. Global warming, STDs, etc are all issues that get blown out of proportion by a media that likes to hype things and over-zealous do-gooders who have a superiority complex. The simple facts are these, humans have been having sex-- lots of sex over the many millennia. STDs have been around just as long. Getting one is relatively statistically low. Of course, the more you partake, the greater exposure one has but still the stats are low. Most here probably do appreciate the dangers and make a decision based on their own preferences. This is a sexually oriented hobby, so those who play are already taking a risk-- adding another is statistically insignificant.

We are in a sex industry so I would always think it would be a risk, take precaution and you should be okay and like the others said get tested and be smart and don't offer more than a bbbj and you should be ok... I always wonder the same thing but I have been reading all the threads on here and on websites so the facts are yes you can get them and the facts are we after money! ! !

Risk vs. Reward is just not there. Why take the risk? It just doesn't make sense to me, but then again I'm not the one that has to taste the condom.
