Gas-$1.84 a gallon, a war in Iraq that we had won, less than a thousand deaths in Afghanistan, only $14 trillion in debt, a lot less people on food stamps, a lot less people below the poverty line, Blockbuster was still in business, Radio Shack was still going strong, and the REAL unemployment rate was 10% and not 17%. I have news for you, the economy was worse when Carter was the president (unemployment higher, inflation higher, prime higher, you know the misery index)
