What is going on??

Is there some big event or conference going on in KC this weekend?! I just went to book my room for the evening and the only decent hotel left was nearly $350!

Perhaps I should ask these type questions before planning my trips lol

Royals vs. Cards this weekend. That draws a lot of people into town. There's other stuff going on as well but that's all that I know of that would soak up hotel rooms.

Also an event at Bartle Hall and Crown Center. You can always stay with me. No charge!

And it's not going to get any better, or the hotels any cheaper, as we approach the All-Star Game week. Dawg better get the fold-out cots out!

Lol I feel fortunate that I was even able to find a room! Good Grief!
