Pittsburgh restaurants

Whats a good restaurant to take a date not a hooker. Don’t mind the cuisine, no allergies for either one of us. Could be downtown Pittsburgh or surrounding. Preferably non chain and somewhere that doesn’t break the bank. And when i say that 100-200 for 2 people. This includes a couple of drinks not 7. I don’t to go to a cruddy place but not somewhere that its overpriced because of the ambiance. And I have time to call for a reservation if need be. I know this is a lot of specifics but better than being vague and getting a bunch of smart ass remarks. Which will happen anyways…

I like Monterey Bay...great view and dinner w a bottle is about 150. Hard booze and you're maybe 20 more..

Go out east to Trafford on rt 130 and try Olives and Peppers. Great food and way less than 150...

Most of the lads here will surely reply with GREAT tips
and advice for you... What area of Pittsburgh are you
most familiar with? ... Down-towne or to the suburbs??

... For example, in the south hills - Deblasio's is nice.
Carbonara's is nice also...

I dont mind driving but i figured downtown has nicer restaurants but gps is the best thing ever invented.
... Up in north hills -there's "Rico's".

And to the west - a place to take a lovvy (or a provider in disguise)
for romance lovvy-dovvy style and pretend that you're a rich Lord
called "Hyeholde"... Looks like a small castle.

Most say you can’t go wrong with Capital Grille. Bring up the menu to check pricing. It’s more of a steak place. $65-$70 a plate.
Salty mentioned Italian places, typically much less expensive.

Bravo is decent and inexpensive. One place near the airport one in the south hills. Bonefish at south hills village is good.

Simply peck on the area you may want to go for restaurants, check out yelp reviews with a grain of salt, it will show pics inside ect.
Alcohol typically adds a lot to the bill It does for me I’ll have 6 or so drinks at $8.00 each or so
