Info Please For Denver?

So making a trip to the mountains.....LOL. Sovanna and I would appreciate any info or suggestions on where to stay or where not to stay. The more 411 the better for us.

DTC, Downtown Denver, North Denver, stay out of Lakewood.

Geecue is right, especially about Lakewood. The DTC is a good location with a lot of hotels and easy access. It's also a place where there's plenty of money so that shouldn't be a problem either.

I've heard while downtown Denver can be very good that a huge amount of the hotels have keycard required for elevator access :/ *shrugs*. Confirmation would be helpful.

Thats right...a lot of the downtown hotels use keycards for the elevators. It is a bit of a pain for both parties. DTC is a favorite location and has easy access. Stay out of Lakewood.
