moderators listed on each Houston forum?

Every Houston forum shows moderated by skeeter and darthmaul. I'm sure the moderators have been changed multiple times since they were moderated by those two. It would take an admin less than 5 minutes to update this, so why hasn't it been updated over a couple of years?

It appears this has been read, can't anybody take 30 seconds to make a reply?

Also, since we're in the proper forum to ask moderators a question, why isn't this rule being enforced?

#17 - Multiple handles are not permitted, unless in certain circumstances are expressly approved by staff in advance on a case-by-case basis. Action will be taken in cases where staff finds multiple handles are being used for deceptive reasons, to carry out an agenda (promotion or trashing of another), or to return to the board following a previous suspension or ban.

Questions too tough to answer? I mean, it's on topic in the proper forum. Irony, I name something that is killing thousands of people and the mods are right on the ball with a 10 pointer that lasts 6 month, but can't take the time to answer these questions.

Also a search of the guidelines doesn't list anything for the 'nuclear guidelines'. Would one of the moderators please link in the board guidelines where it says anything about something so bad it breaks the 'nuclear guidelines'. IMHO a guideline is a guideline, it should be the same for members who've been banned and are using multiple usernames (who add nothing to this site and make the moderators look weak for allowing it) and someone promoting drug usage. etc.

Sir

While moderators generally have set areas they can and do moderate across all of ECCIE

What we call nuclear violations are all 10 pointers and have the possibility of a ban These are all listed in the guideline section

And I don't want to hear about people being volunteers, maybe some are volunteers with good intentions, and maybe some are staff members for the prestige and power that comes with the title. Only each individual knows their own intent.

Fact: this is an honest question about why guideline 17 isn't being followed.
Fact: this is the proper forum to address or question things concerning questions for the staff.
Fact: the membership deserves an answer. It may not be the answer we want, but an answer is called for.

Maybe if enough folks start hitting the rtm button on his posts that would help.
Just an idea.

If there is suspicion use the RTM button. While ECCIE does have security software and its catches multiple handles daily some can sneak by that’s why we request using the RTM

The rule in not being ignored but proof is needed for staff to take action

I'm pretty sure it took admin level of permission to search MAC addresses, so the moderators wouldn't be able to do this. The software was V bulletin, but I forgot what number.

John,
Let it go.
Doc is one of the main mods and knows what he's doing.
They are simply shorthanded at the moment.

Then again, a lot of us want to know why guideline 17 isn't being followed, it's a simple question requiring what may be a simple answer. The point I'm trying to make is to let other members know there may be two levels of software permissions for moderators and admin, as a matter of fact, it shows the moderators can't prove 100% if a person is using multiple user names or not by not having access to the needed software, and it may take admin levels of management to handle or address this. A lot of members probably didn't know this, so it was my intent to point out things from another perspective. This was not to reflect anything bad about current board staff.
