Best part of town to stay in?

milfy2002's Avatar

I'm researching the best part of town to stay in when I visit in late spring/summer.

Wanting to consider things like good neighborhood, smooth traffic flow, ease of access for the hobbyist.

Please do not mention specific hotels or establishments. Looking for general area only.

Thanks!

I would suggest NW Austin relatively close to Loop 360 and Research Blvd (Hwy 183). Enjoy Austin, as it enjoys you!

Out of curiosity - you have 'BBQ' under your handle.
I'm not familiar with that acronym??

I like sushi. California rolls are one of my favorites, but I like avocado too.
But sushi & BBQ don't seem to go together. Odd combo.

Be sure and ask for it country style.

+1 for something near 183/360 or the domain. Cheaper yet nice hotels and easy access from almost everywhere.

Thank you saustin. That was one acronym I couldn't figure out.
Only BBQ I could think of was food related.
