Looking to take a trip over seas... Does anyone have or know of a good travel agent or service in the Dallas area?

Do you have an idea where you're looking to go? Some travel agents are better for certain destinations. In general, my experience is that a good travel agent is hard to find. If you're a AAA member you can use them, but my experience there was just OK.

You could try these folks: USA Gateway Travel, 600 Data Dr., Suite #101, Plano 75075.
(972) 960-2000. I was only there briefly and didn't look around much, but it appeared to be a large agency staffed mainly by Asian agents. I think they cater to the Asian community. I know they do China travel, but I'm not sure about Japan or the rest of Asia. It's worth a shot, you could call and ask. The service I got for what I needed was very good.
