Time Warner DNS Server Issues

If some of you in the San Antonio or South Texas area encountered problems finding websites on Tuesday 22 June starting between midnight and 12:30 AM I found out that Time Warner began having DNS server issues at that time. No cause was given and no time table for restoration was given.

Thank goodness for my Verizon mobile wi-fi hot spot.

The issues appear to have been resolved.

I had lots of intermittent problems with my cable company's DNS. I reconfigured my PC to use OpenDNS and have had no issues since. Its free and fairly easy to set up.
