Boston's plan: Lock Kyrie up and make Luka play hero ball. We in it.

Kyrie was 6-19
Luka had 1 assist(9 total assists for the whole team)
7-27 from 3pt range for the Mavs
That won’t happen again, the Mavs lost to the clippers and Thunder in game 1’s and bounced back, they will be fine. MFFL!!!

The 3 pointers to me are a given. The Mavs are rated 1-3 in corner 3 pointers, but the Celtics always close out on corner 3 pointers.

I’m very concerned. Dallas has relied on Luka getting double teamed. Celtics can switch 1-4 or 1-5 depending who’s on the floor at the 5. And even with Horford at the five they can kind of switch. So the role players are always being guarded. There was way, way too much standing around and watching Luka in game 1. The Mavs don’t really have enough motion offense outside the pick and roll. And, the tell of it is, the offensive output, thin as it was, wasn’t even their biggest problem. Defense was. Kidd has them okaying hard. The question is can he get them playing smart. X’s and O’s aren’t his long suit. As I say, I’ve been optimistic in every series up to now, but I hadn’t watched much eastern conference ball. We looked badly out classed and badly out coached.

I think Luka is having the same problem Anthony Edwards was having. He's playing decent defense, but was gassed Guarding Tatum, Brown, and at times Kristaps. In the 2nd half he looked tired. Lookin forward to see how they adjust. Lively and Gafford need to have production, and Lively can't be in foul trouble.

Jason Tatum's elite D, JB's leadership, Jrue stepping up as the 4th/5th option, this team is elite.
I think the Mavs played close to their best last night, the Celtics played their D+ game. The Celtics are so much better. I'm skipping game 3, and game 4 if the Celtics go up 3-0.
About time to turn out the lights on the Mavericks. Wonder if the Celtics are going to sweep them in Dallas or finish them off in front of their fans in Boston.

Role players typically play better at home games and there's no Kristaps so I assume it's a gentleman's sweep, if they can make it back to Boston
I have seriously never seen a more whiny little player than Luca. Everytime they looked at him he was whining for a foul. Only one who compares to him is Lebron.
