As I pack my bags for yet another trip to another country, I wanted to pause a moment to reflect on Memorial Day.
From the sacrifices of many, we enjoy the priviledge to travel, to openly debate and argue on forums such as this, to speak freely and live our lives as we see fit with limited interference of our rights.
As I fly across our country, looking out the window at the landscape below, I reflect that Memorial Day is more than just a long weekend, a trip to the lake and beer drinking, grilling, and more drinking.
From the sacrifices of many, we can have a long weekend, a trip to the lake and grill and drink beer.......
Remember those who have served and fallen, and those who are presently in service to our country......
