Showcase Photo Size

For future reference in re-sizing images for lady friends, what are the size restrictions on showcase photos? Many seem to be little more than thumbnails.

800x600 is a good size for them.

I have always recommended that the longest side be no more than 600 pixels. The size is good for viewing plus they will not take long for the browser to fetch and load.
