And Now For Something Completely Different

With all the talk about JoPa and Veterans Day, (respect being given to where it goes, ok?) some may have missed that a collegiate basketball game was played yesterday on an active aircraft carrier!

Yes, I missed it too! I didn't even hear about it on the news! (I'm not a big follower of sports - until the Mavericks were playing last year and when my kids are playing their sports.) But how did I miss my local news station even mentioning this yesterday morning? Maybe they didn't!

ESPN SPORTS Is the breakdown of the sport science behind this.

NY Times article

awesome picture during the game.

Now - in regards to the sports science theory that players will have a reduced shot percentage due to there being no roof - I have to say that it probably won't apply to all the players. Many probably play yard ball - or have played out at the courts with friends and have adjusted their shots for outdoor play before. I know I use to all the time. It's probably what made me become a better baller.

Wish I had the game on yesterday. Oh well. Next year!

I wanted one of those jerseys. Those were sweet looking camo themed. Love the links; sports science is cool and those photos are amazing. Heard them say OBL was dropped of that deck, thought that was cool they were playing the game on the carrier. Proud to be an American watching an American game.

Thanks TNT
Speaking of college bball... Congrats to coach K!
I'm not up on all the initials it seems...OBL?
