Been a Cardinals fan since I was a kid. Growing up in Kansas all you have is the Royals and the Cardinals, and I despise the American League. Been through the horror of 1985, the joy of 1982 and 2006. Post about them all the time here, I just have other uses for my avatar, so I don't get baseball stuff up like you and Strongbad.

I, too have always been a "closet" Cardinals fan. Heck, the Buffalos were their farm team and I can remember going to see them when I was a little kid. The Cards would play an exhibition game here occasionally.

They played their hearts out this last month. And, it paid off!!! I'm excited to see them make the playoffs.

Cardinals vs Cubs........did not matter if one of them
was in the cellar,it was a good game

I don't "hate" the American league,but I found the AL to be BORING,
after I moved to Cincinnati during the time of the Big Red Machine

I had some "shit factory job" --- one day at breaktime,some clown was
calling Pete Rose an "overrated hotdog asshole".....
I said that "hotdog asshole" may be correct,but "overrated" was not.
I don't know when I have seen better baseball.
