In Texas, are juvenile records sealed as a matter of course?

What kind of "juvenile records" are you talking about? Records regarding a juvenile criminal offender?

Duh, yeah. But no need to show your thoughts here. I sent you a pm months ago and got no response. Please, no billable advice is asked for here. I have no desire to interact with a minion of the British empire. (See.. British Attorney Registry) Thank you for your time.

That's fine, but I think you have me confused with someone else.

To my understanding of Texas juvenile records, when the juvenile reaches 18 he or she MUST APPLY to have the records remain sealed.

Otherwise the records become public.

There is a window of a number weeks to apply for sealing of records.

If you miss that time frame you are out of luck, the record becomes public.
