Does ANYONE here have a sense of humor anymore?

So I had an appointment the other day with a new client, the dry wit banter started via email days before. Without giving details let's just say cable markers, kickstands and safety vests were discussed. Now we get to our appointment day and time and we both arrive.

One of my roomies who happens to be the "hostest with the mostest" had decorated to the hilt the day before. Now, said client and I got quite a kick out of Santa and Crew sending him a beacon into the Monday morning. So we were already giggling.

We start chatting about the board and the reviews, and coeds etc. To which my companion and I are chatting about how serious and focused "some" board members get and how they will just wail on someone for not giving the supposedly "required details, etc". And how some members (and the board has discussed this) just live to pile on and make comments.

So he remarks to me. I would love to for once just "tongue in cheek" post a review that says "I walked in, we shook hands, we had conversation no one listened to, I could not get my small, smelly, soft dick up, but I know it is my fault for not either washing, manscaping or brushing my tongue or hey maybe we just didnt click and a bad appt I am going to blame on me"

FUNNY, part is that sense of humor based with his understanding of you have to take every thing you read with a grain of salt (AND THAT GOES BOTH WAYS) made me want to jump his hot sexy bones harder and then some. I told him "Go For IT" and actually we have joked several times since them about what a great handshaking experience we both had..

Flash forward, he balls up and writes the "we shook hands review" and of course CLASSIC, as we discussed. The response is " Insufficient Details" LMAO.

Really, we had an AWESOME Time and he reflected that in the humor in his review, but because it did not hit the check off list of exact details that needs to be listed in someones head it is insufficient??
Somewhere along the way you have to find humor in this ENTIRE lifestyle. Yes, we all have fun...Yes, it is mutually beneficial, BUT HELL YES IT IS FUNNY and at some point we should stop being so freaking "this is how it should be" Ironically, we all participate in this lifestyle because we do not on some level agree with how we are told by society "we should be" so why in the hell would you bring the judgements you would experience if you told the real world what you partake in into our FUN world.

And you guys wonder why the girls are ducking out of here left and right??

i'm so glad you made that post. it's not something i had thought about. you put forth an excellent argument and made very good points [the parts i bolded]. i agree wholeheartedly with you on this topic!!!

even tho' various psychological, interpersonal, and personality tests tag me as normal or amiable or organized, i view myself as very different from most of the people i know in my life, family, job, clubs, etc. and not just different in ethnic heritage, profession, political viewpoints, etc.

but also different in the things i do, places i go, movies i see, ideas i have about the world, types of foods i like, and the women i like to play and have fun with.

so, maybe like you, lauren, i didnt come to this very different sub-culture to get bashed or judged or dumped on cos i do things differently from them - women i visit, opinions i have about some women or men or viewpoints put forth. [ok, maybe you all will judge and like that i will soon reduce the frequency of my posting. see? something different :^].

even tho' i'm pretty self-reliant, of strong personality and mind, and let a lot of shit just fly past me, it still stings when i read less than deliteful things about me [like in signature lines]. i may think about what they said and may say "self, you might consider a change." but it's no big deal, since all this sub-culture and the interactions that go on here dont amount to a hill of beans in the bigger picture of our city, state, nation, and planet. unless someone's health, safety and/or security are at stake.

I have idea - women of the world unite! Increase your rates to $300 per hour fixed! No more specials, no half hour wham bam thank you mam deals. Laborious screening processes. First meeting in a public place so the provider can decide if she wants to get boned by your fat, smelly, pencil dick self. That way all the guys who think it is great to get laid for $70 can go start their own board.
