I saw the sign that said not only was the freeway closed at Bellaire, but that the feeder road was closed also. Nice to see the signs are accurate at least once .

One of my guys got stuck on his way but I offered him a discount for his trouble ....

I ended up getting lucky. I had to go 610 northbound off of 59. Not only was it not bad (not good, just normal Galleria mid day traffic), but I got to see the parking lot going southbound and avoid that.

But it affected traffic all over inside the loop. I know both Westheimer AND Shepherd have been much worse than usual all day. I imagine other streets as well.
