Cash only Hotel

Does anyone know of a cash only hotel or motel, one that does not require a credit card for deposit? Im looking for one in the Temple area.

To my knowledge no motels or hotels anywhere take cash as deposit for the simple fact of security on their end. Also most hotels need to be able to track down who used the room incase something goes down via credit card to be able to charge for damages or incidentals. An ID isn't enough these days. Even the mom & pop venues don't do cash. The hourly ones might in the ghetto but then again... your risking more like being robbed or worse your life.
