Eventually eBay and PayPal will figure out how to report you to the IRS if you are selling a lot of volume. I don't remember the amount but I used to do this as a hobby a few years ago. High eBay, PayPal and shipping fees killed it for me. I brought a lot of costume jewelry on wholesale running at $1 - $3 each and selling them for $10 - $20 each depending on how big it was. Try other things, it don't necessarily have to be big ticket items. Good luck!

There are plenty of options outside of this place.

I know more than a few people personally who shop regularly at thrift shops, Goodwill, and garage/estate sales looking for bargains they can then sell on Ebay.

The typical Ebay shopper is too busy to spend time running all over town looking for something they want so what may appear to be a premium to most people for an item is a deal to them plus it is shipped right to their house!
