If you feel the need to vent, gripe, or blow off some steam regarding a staff member's action or decision, we ask that you keep it private. Email, RTM, or the PM system would be the appropriate avenue to take in such cases. In cases where you would like to request additional clarity about a staff decision, you are free to pursue an answer in either a public forum or private means of communication. If handled publicly, post your inquiry in a respectful manner.I've followed this rule to a 'T', sending comments and questions through PM's, but I can't get a return PM sent back to me with either comments or answers for questions asked. It was never my intent to post this in public, but this should be the proper forum, because in the General Interest forums it says,
For staff assistance, contact your local moderator, or see the "Emails to the Staff" post in the Questions for the Staff forum in each city.So there is no option in the General Interest forums to ask a moderator or administrator questions.
I do find it ironic that we can get points for not following the rules, but when we follow the rules we're ignored. I also realize the board staff members are volunteers, however answering PM's should be considered a responsibility of the board staff and an extension of their volunteer work.
I appreciate that Dr-epg did answer a question from me, sent through a PM.
