I'm watching the venues on that one world theatre myself, I saw KM on the list. I will plan on seeing him, of course if it doesn't conflict with Mumford & sons.

Now I'm jealous. I went about 20 years ago and had a great weekend. Most memeorable was John Lee Hooker. Look thru my reviews for a tip on a provider in the FQ. She was fantatic. I was just there.

I've been a bunch of times. Actually did a documentary for an international TV station back in the 80s.

My favorite sets were Dave Bartholomew, Alain Toussaint, the Radiators, Mighty Clouds of Joy and, of course, ALL THE FUCKING INDIANS!

NO HOOM BOW! DON'T KNOW HOW!

As I understand it, this year's lineup isn't nearly as good as those in the past. But you know, it's NOLA! And the music on the street corner is more melodious than the sound of boys and girls slashing each others' tires in the Co-Ed forum! You can't go wrong if you're in NOLA during Jazz Fest.

Go see my man Marvin "WORD" at the Camellia Grill while you're there. He'll knock the calories right out of your grilled pecan pie! Eat light before dessert my brothers and sisters!

And don't miss Mother's! Best sammich in the Big Easy. Man vs. Food stuff.

Check it ALL out man...you'll become one of the NOLA Culture Crowd!
