been a few years for me, but I popped in while my friend was at Pearls of Asia in July (some 100 feet away).. place was dead (sorry for the ill-conceived metaphor), so I split before paying a cover.

seems like gunfire is becoming common at strip clubs all over the Metroplex. it's no longer confined to XTC!
I guess this is new for Dallas people but growing up there was a shooting every weekend at bars and clubs so I am totally used to it. As long as you mind your business, not a gang member, and not flashing a ton of cash you will be fine.

How can you be use to shootings at clubs and bars? Does this mean that you don't duck for cover when the gunfire erupts and just continue to sip your drink like it's nothing? Maybe return when the smoke clears knowing that it will happen again eventually. Must be some good upstanding citizens there. The kind you rub shoulders and drink with.
