Ok. There are an increasing number of oral and throat cancers that are associated with HPV (human papilloma virus). Most likely these are the same variants that cause cervical cancer in women. The risk is high in gay mem (you guys can figure out why).

There is no recommendation on this, but you either have the virus already, or you can get the vaccine. You may have to pressure your doc, but if you are willing to pay. All young men should get it.

The risk is pretty low. I would worry more about Herpes, HIV, etc.
