Jermain Taylor

Did anyone catch the article in the AR Dem-Gaz about Jermain Taylor? It seems that he was doing alittle P4P amongst other things, supposedly. Hasn't he had a run in with ladies before but nothing came about it?

Yes I did... I've heard soooo many rumors surrounding this character!! Have for years now if there true that's a different story that unfortunately we might never know the Truth!!

Unfortunately, it appears to be another case of a dumb hobby experience - probably the last thing he wanted to show up on the front page of the sports section. Perhaps one too many blows to the head?

The DemGaz article has more detail but is only available to subscribers. During the lunch program on 103.7 The Buzz, Acri said that he got the impression from police contacts that the accuser may have made up the accusations, so it's still to be seen whether any charges will be filed - not that that takes much of the sting out of being outed on the front page of the Sports section.

Lawyering up may look bad from a PR standpoint, but it was DEFINITELY the right move to make under the circumstances. LE loves it when a suspect tries to talk his or her way out of trouble. Criminal defense lawyers hate it. If you talk to LE without your lawyer present, you greatly increase the chances that you might inadvertently help LE build a case against you when they otherwise would not have one.

He's probably learned from last experiences. He's def. a danger to society but for some reason the Animal stays lose to lure on more females. He may get away with this too she ought to be lucky to walk away even with some minor charges shes doing better than some of his past victims already!!

Unfortunately, it looks like he's going to be able to walk away from this one. You are thinking the same thing as I was, with his past victims. It's ashame that someone that has this much popluarity in the state can do as he pleases and not be held accountable for his actions. One day it will all catch up to him!

Maybe Jermain and Bobby P. can share some stories of home life these days!
