Louisville Hotel Recommendations

Welcoming all feedback!

I'm visiting Louisville soon and am trying to decide if I should:

1.)stay near the airport ?

2.)stay downtown where I can easily switch hotels each night (I like fresh sheets :-) )

3. Any thoughts on the new Derby City Gaming Hotel?

I prefer larger hotels where I feel anonymous and not paid any attention as well as open, free parking.

Residence Inn Hurstbourne Lane just north of Shelbyville Road
