every single day the Internet Media documents some little instance of racism.. somewhere. I think it is making Americans a bit hardened to real racism, if anything. am I supposed to feel shame or sympathy for this 4th grade slur?
the real "story" here, I think, is the fact that the headline screamed "African American Millionaire".. as if HOW DARE someone call him a bad name, this guy is important. Fuck, I've been called the same word more than a few times, and I'm not black.. it's just a word meant to convey anger or represent strife. the article writer curiously has his mind made up that "a racist creep" sneaked in to the hotel room to write or plant the offensive note. more than likely a hotel worker wrote it.. in fact, I would say it is MORE likely that the "Millionaire" wrote it, than some "racist creep" who sneaked into the room.
