SW MO sucks. I know, i have been here almost 35 years, but if you go a little west of joplin there is Miami OK with casinos and other stuff that may make it more worth your while. Sorry to be a downer, but i wouldn't want you to be dissappointed. Have fun and be safe whatever you decide.
