Rachel's True Colors

It is such a shame Rachel used Tylor's name.

Hi ladies,

It is with sadness that I must announce our retirement from photographing companions. An unfortunate situation has transpired that has forced me into this decision that sadly affects all of us since I know most of you are repeat clients who were looking forward to enjoying a long term working relationship with us. "Tylor Blake" contacted me this morning informing us that the hotel where we shot her images discovered her website and told her to remove the images. She is citing that I did not sign a contract with the hotel expressly clearing a photo shoot for use on an escort website which as you know is ridiculous. To protect our clients, we never disclose the nature of their business with anyone. Many of you value our commitment to confidentiality and now that is being used against us as she has threatened lawsuit, outing me to hotels and slandering me on companion boards.

In our defense, we did do our best to make right on our end regarding this very unfortunate situation and spent 4 hours revising her images at no cost in an effort to obscure the background although that is not my expertise, I even provided her with all of the high resolution images from her session so that she had over 100 images to play with in recreating her website and you all know I never release high res images but I did try to make it right.

I know this is not your fight ladies but I felt you deserved to know why we cannot continue this work, not that we do not want to or that we have developed any prejudice against it. We are quite saddened by this and wanted you all to know the reason why directly from us before the rumor mill starts. When I have someone yelling at me saying "I want to know why you got me into this situation and what are you going to do about it." and threatening my anonymity and livelihood, I see no other alternative than to move on.

We respectfully ask that if you have my true name or a link to my main website on your site anywhere, please remove it. Unfortunately because of this situation, our lawyers will be doing inventory to ensure my true name and site are protected. If you have Seduire Photography credited on your site, you might as well remove it because the site is now down.

If you currently have a shoot scheduled, it will not be affected. Feel free to call us or email and we can address any concerns.

As companion business is no more than 10% of my business, I must protect my family and my reputation with my main business.

Thank you all for your most valued support, friendship and sisterhood over the years. It's true what they say about one bad apple. I sure am going to miss you ladies but I have three kids to feed and I'd rather do that than pay lawyers.

Best,

R

I give Rachel (who I wouldn't know from Adam [or Eve]) credit for proactively controlling the situation. Score this round for her.

UGH. This really irks me. Why did she have to mention names? Has anyone actually mentioned HER by name on the boards, except in a positive light? I've never seen or read negative public comments about her and I'm curious as to where she was slandered. The thread about Tylor's images didn't mention her name. (I guess it didn't have to. Seems we all knew anyhow.)

Another example of her lack of professionalism. There are many other examples, as some of you ladies know.

So does this rise to the level of exposing Rachel (with her real name) to her non-escort clients?

Bottom line, without seeing the letter yourself, I'd back out of this one ans...it seems like a lot of drama and pretty unlikely that any hotel actually cares. Whatever, you crop it and call it a day. I can't imagine a hotel actually cares....????

I don't understand. This gal is in the photography business. But when she can't deliver what the customer pays for, she blames the customer??!! This isn't even a good PR move. It's a I don't give a shit about my customers statement.

I make a pretty damned good living suing people like this from breach of contract. In what State did the facts in question happen?
So. Has anyone that I know and respect actually seen a letter from said hotel? Is this possible stupid drama stuff, escalated to bring in the innocent? It just seems that the hotel would be hard pressed to give a shit. 'Course, I could be wrong, but..... Originally Posted by Sydneyb

Aside from Ansley's response there are other ladies who apparently have had problems working with Rachel (and this came out in earlier threads before this one), so taken as a whole ..

Aside from the legal aspects that THH and others have addressed so well, the one certainty in this situation is that, by sending a mass email whose text ended up on this board (and, I suppose, on other boards), and the resulting "naming of names", the photographer has blown any chance to "protect my family and my reputation with my main business". A good guess is that the word will be out in the photographer's hometown by about 10AM tomorrow that she had a business photographing escorts.

Give atl credit, had someone listened to him this thing would not have gotten blown out of wacky-wack.

Bottom line...with the nature of this business ain't nobody sueing nobody for notta.

I got towed a while back and came back and got into it with the tow truck driver. The warning signs were placed so you would have to be a fucing eagle to read them. Long and short , I was pissed enough to threathen to pay some poor bastard to sit in that lot and warn off potential suckers. Did I? Fuc Nooooooooooo. In fact I almost got somebodys assed whipped. Truth be known it was a better than decent chance that it was going to be mine!

Now have you ever heard the phrase "Don't bring a knife to a gun fight" ?

Point being , that was a big ole Tow truck driver (it would have matter not if he was half my size). The matter wasn't big enough for me to get my ass whipped over nor him shot. Sometimes its best to just let it go. Another point is that at times there is no malicious intent. In those cases it is best to seek a middle ground.
