Best Video editing apps?

For videos taken on the phone, what are some of the best yet simple apps to use for video editing? I’m looking to do things like crop videos shorter, and making gifts from videos. Thanks!

What operating system do you use? Android, Apple or something else?

For Android, just go to the google play store. Search on " video editor".

You will find a number of highly rated video editors with thousands of downloads. Read the reviews and find one that works for you.

The app "Video Crop" is one that will make your video crop.

There is another one called "Crop and Trim Video".
I have an Apple iPhone

I do not use Apple. Maybe someone else can give you information about the video editing apps in the Apple store.

Adobe has a video editor that works on the IOS platform.

iMovie works great for me. I use it often and, since it's native to the iphone, it integrates well with my videos I take. That's my vote.

Just make sure you scrub the metadata off your video with some cleaners before positing publicly. Unless you're comfortable with people having that info.
