Pre-Session Together time

I love this and have done it before. What does everyone think? Should he have to pay for her time?
I am talking about meeting for drinks or dinner before the session. Especially if you have not been together yet.
To me it feels like a secret love affair. And you share a secret that no one around you knows.
A bit of flirting, footsie under the table or more!
Is this an ok idea? The gentleman should cover the bill but do you charge him for your time together?
I wouldn't if it was only about an hour and not far away.
I think it's hot and builds anticipation for bcd time
I have had a couple meetings like this, and only paid for the actual bill.
I personally enjoy getting to know each other prior to getting down to business.
I do not want to feel like "just another client" - I prefer to at least chat some prior to the session.
There are a select few I have had lunch or dinner with, but I do enjoy knowing the person behind the persona.
I could see it going either way. I may have to start
Doing this. It would definitely build the anticipation

Doing civie stuff to get wound up works very well.
I consider this a broken clock date.
Mostly with gals previously dated for a while.
Yes the guy covers the tab.
Clock repair rates can get confusing and could be a per client thing.
Drinks, dinner, brunch, whatever.
Any civie activity is on the table.
I've even gone Pokémon hunting.
I've done this once and it helped a lot ... Love the footsie play

I have gone both ways with this...
If they pay for the time & Meal/Drinks The term is DINNER /Dessert
Keeps it more PROFESSIONAL IMO
BUT Generally I don't & it is a nice build up of anticipated BCD fun ...BIGTIME.

I like this idea and have tried this with a few providers but it is hard to find a good provider that enjoys this as well.

Grinning at each other and exchanging the pleasantries of the day doesn't warrant a full rate.

Fifty bucks, regardless of what follows, and the gentleman's on for the check of course.

A good idea but cumbersome and too time consuming for the average Joe, I think.

Also, ya get that close and put one drink in him, he's gonna fuck her.
So...

I've had it happen after the date, but not before. As we are finishing up I've had ladies ask if I wanted to grab some food, and I have asked ladies the same thing. In that case it's an off-the-books thing, but I'll pick up the tab (although I've had the lady offer a few times).

I wouldn't mind meeting for drinks before a session, but I wouldn't want to have dinner first. I don't like to have sex with a full stomach. I always think of sex advice columnist Dan Savage's suggestion for couples. For big nights like anniversaries or Valentine's Day, "Fuck First". Have the sexy, fun times first, then go out for a late dinner.

1) You work up an appetite before the meal, whereas
2) A big fancy meal makes you feel bloated, tired, or tipsy. Plus,
2) You avoid the standard dinner rush if you eat late.

Besides, what if you met for dinner and decided that you really didn't like the person? It would be awkward if you learned that the person was just terrible and then you had to go have sex with them. If you jump right into sex you don't know that they plan to vote for [candidate x] or they believe [something you think is stupid or offensive] or they are mean to their mother.
I'd say it depends on the nature and its best to discuss. I agree for some wanting GFE style experiences, one may have an extended session. I think this time is implicit on a longer experience. Even if you can pay for a 6 hour date, it's not reasonable to expect 6 hours of blow job(although I know a couple providers that could throw down the gauntlet on that challenge). For me, it's reasonable to a third or up to half the time be conversation, teasing, or flirting. The flip side of this, however, it's more than reasonable for a provider to lower a longer term engagement rate wise with expectations that she isn't gonna have to physically exhaust herself for 6 hours. To me, this is what a lot of GFE is....in GFE there is a fantasy element of seduction that does make it an overall experience. Time is money. If you are talking to a provider or sending end upon end of pm's and texts, it's gentlemanly to pay something for that.

The two exceptions are when the hobby goes civilian. That means no flirting or acting, no expectation of anything whatsoever. The provider is in their jeans and sweat top and the John is actually presentable in public. Usually, it's because of something practical like, "I'm hungry, neither of us have shit to do for a while and you seem to be a nice person, so let's grab lunch." As far as who pays, well, I tend to pay but, a smart provider would offer to cover the cost for the customer. It makes me feel more about the person, and in the end, I probably end up doing something to make up for it. Another practical thing is to "show an out of town this great city of ours." It's lonely being in hotel after hotel and every city starts to look and feel the way. Again, if there is some rapport there its shouldn't be a pay for time.

The other category of engagement is when a client has a needed service. Some guys on here know the boards and scene so well, they can really give good advice on how to be safe, where to go and not go. Also, many clients have diverse skill(and so do some providers), that can be helpful. Attorneys, doctors, nurses, accountants, business dudes. Most guys that fall in that category love to mentor a beautiful women in the areas they know about. It's informal at best so no pay. In a providers shoes, I would never formally barter for things like law and accounting... Have to worry about if the lawyer or accountant is putting your needs or their needs first. You'd be suprised at some the skills these providers have. One time I had a technical issue that was stumping me professionally and one particular provider knew exactly how to fix it. I told her, if she ever wanted a second job, shit, come see me. I actually offered to pay her as well for consulting but she refused.....
I think this long response will give JR a run for his money.

I love this idea!

I don't see the high volume girls going for this...unless they were getting paid for the whole time.

But I'm certainly game.
