Improved Search?

Owner's, Admin's, Mod's...

There is a lot I like about ECCIE.

But I think better control of "Search" is lacking. I would really like to have a much better search facility. For example, suppose I want to see if there are any reviews on "Emily Rains Love". Searching for this brings up instances where only one of the words is used. A boolean seach facility would improve this greatly. I could then look for Emily AND Rains AND Love.

Again, thanks for the great board... and hope you decide to improve search!
I use the word activies as secondary search and it will only pull reviews
I've asked about this very issue before, and I've tried the "activities" search. This does not work effectively to narrow down a search for reviews on one particular lady. It has never gotten good results for me.

Waddabout if you search Emily Rains Love by using "+" in the search field?
Por ejemplo: "Emily
+Rains+ Love"

I thinck that might work..

The method you suggest, gets me 2993 hits when I search based on posts of all forums. Most of the hits are for the single word "love".

So, nice try, but it doesn't work.

Put a space between each word and plus sign. Like this...

Emily + Rains + Love

Use the plus sign (+) for the Boolean term AND
Use the "or" bar (|) for the Boolean term OR

You can combine them and use parentheses characters for more complex expressions...

(A + B) | C
(A | B) + C
