Obama Selects Former Bain CEO to Head OMB

You can't make this up. The Republicans are handing the President his re-election on a silver platter, and the President nullifies his opponent's biggest weakness. Is he trying to lose the election? I mean, Bain Capital has come to symbolize the worst of venture capitalism, and Mitt Romney was in the middle of it. Now Obama selects a former Bain CEO to head the OMB. How does he campaign against Bain now?

This is the first election I can remember where both sides have done everything they can to lose. I guess the one that does the worst job of trying to lose, will win. God, this is fun!

That is indeed a puzzle.

Such a move undercuts the Democrats issue against Romney.

. . . But there must be a hidden reason behind this appointment that we are not seeing.
