a question about my stop in pittsburgh for my cross country road trip.. :)

im so excited to take this cross country road trip in march..

any one specific area thats the best?
any areas to avoid? feel free to pm..

i have only been to pittsburgh twice in my life.

one time was when i was in my partying days and i just remember how hard it was to walk on the cobblestone..
the second i went to a pirates game, the casino and a nice downtown area that was suitable for my more sophisticated self...

this time it is for a different visit.. i am posting about it here, so.. that should give some insight!

You will get different opinions for different guys depending on where they live

Five main areas:

Robinson / Airport - lots of hotel choices, best for guys in the South Hills

Greentree - Just pick the right hotel. Close to downtown Pittsburgh so most centrally located outside of the city

Downtown / North Shore / Southside - While centrally located, This can be a hassle for guys with traffic / parking

Cranberry - North of the city

Monroeville - East of the city

I almost never see anyone in Monroeville because I am in the South - but I am sure guys near Monroeville don't like to venture to Robinson / Airport

If you want to be centrally located - I would say your best choice is Greentree

I agree on Greentree

Third vote for Greentree.

(The one hotel in Bethel Park or the one in Mt Lebo would make great backups)
Gentlemen, if Alyssa makes a stop in Pittsburgh, you should spend time with this lovely young woman. She is an awesome person
thanks for all of the suggestions!

and its not "if" ... its "when"
I'm taking a cross country road trip in march and pittsburgh is my first stop outside of maryland.
