Memphis...need information.

Hello to all you Memphis Providers and Hobbyists. I am coming into Memphis and will be there shortly and will be staying a few days. I've visited a couple of times before, but could never find a very good place to stay.
Does anyone have any recommendations as to where I could stay that is safe, not downtown and is fairly priced?
I would appreciate any advice. Thank you.

Any time people ask I always say in the Wolfchase area which is Germantown road and I 40. The poplar 240 area is also good but with the construction it sucks, traffic is pitiful. I work in that area and drive it everyday, it simply sucks.

Yes! Wolfchase area! Poplar & I240 is terrible to get to with the construction!

Unfortunately, I think getting to Wolfchase and I-40 has become a bigger problem than Poplar and I-240 if you are coming from anywhere within the loop. Driving that area every day, getting from within the loop or from I-240 is a much more difficult and time consuming adventure than getting to Poplar and I-240. Just get on Bill Morris and take the first exit. You are one -two minutes from the Poplar hotel area.

My take on it. I think the area you stayed in last month Cara was great.
