Places to go

In town for work for a couple of months. Where are the hang outs to meet people. Not looking for strip clubs or twin peak type places looking for lounges or sport bar types 30’s to 50’s range. I’m in my 40’s. I’m not dead yet but I don’t have patience for the club types spots. Just looking for some cool spots to hang out watch some games and stuff. Mostly Birmingham area but open to whatever as far as travel
