Without Getting in the middle...

Of 69er's thread, I just wanted to say what ES did for him, locating a plan b because she had to cancel, is something no provider has ever done for me. I have had a few cancel at the last minute and none said, BTW, I contacted so and so who I think you would have a great time with and she can meet you today.

I just think that was awesome and wish more would provide such a courtesy.

That does sound awesome. Makes the whole community part stand out, too.

Actually, Jaci did that for me once several months ago.
very good point, I have only had a couple of indy providers that I have scheduled with and have cancelled for whatever reason and they did not offer what 69er was offered, all they said was "sorry".

Elysa Scott is all class!

Haven't met Elysa and have no gun in that fight. But will agree that any lady that provides an alternative play-date gets a lot of respect and virtually assures another try at seeing her after whatever cock-blocking issue has been taken care off.
I'm actually kind of surprised that this doesn't happen more often...I've referred gentlemen to other ladies and figured everyone else was doing the same thing LOL guess not? ~Ze~ and Jules have been real life-savers for me in the past, as well as several other ladies I'm friendly with.

I haven't really done this with gentlemen I haven't met before, because I don't have a "feel" for them yet. Usually I will just discount the session when the issue is resolved, or offer alternative activities at a discount if I have to reschedule for Flo or something. Elysa really went above and beyond, and that's why I admire and respect the heck out of her. I know it made me think about offering that as another option.

Elysa delivers this level of class in all her services which caused her to hit ATF status in my book almost instantly!
Thought that was cool of Elysa, too. Katie & Friends will do that, also. I've had a few times where a Provider there had to cancel at the last minute, only to have Gia ask me if I wanted to see so-and-so.

Pretty dang professional of you ladies to do this.

I had a lady that had to cancel with me about 1 and a half years ago. She made a suggestion for me so I sent a request . OMG what a great moment it was. I have had several dates with her since and each time is better than the last!!
As a matter of fact..... I have a date with her again this Saturday evening!!!
Can hardly wait!!!! 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜

I read the thread and thought Elysa was a real class act for going to those lengths. I have never seen her, but now I want to.
Recently I experienced a provider wait to tell me until I was undressed. We even spent 20 minutes chatting prior to getting comfortable. She then had her roommate (another provider) come in to take her place. The only problem was her roommate was........hmmm....how to be nice?......fugly.

I think ES did GREAT under the circumstances. She is to be commended.

so, like i was talking about w/ a friend and his 10 yr old, how people react to things is not pre-wired in our brains. people have to educate/explain/show/suggest to others before someone can know what actions are good, so-so, and not at all good.

sometimes, the person will research or ask on their own.
sometimes, they just blunder along, hoping for the best [i know i have]

so, folks, when something like this happened to you in this hobby, how did you know/learn what to do about it?
a) read what someone else did
b) read it in a book
c) talked w/ a friend who had a similar situation
d) asked a friend what could be done
e) just winged it
f) something else

it's a serious question and hopefully y'all will post serious replies.

the underlying question is "how do we learn how to act in this hobby and in life in general"

Just go with my gut feeling at the time.
