What do you ladies and gentleman think about all the bbfs going around? Sure it has always been there but it's going on more and more. Since I believe in Universal Precaution I am not too concerned, but bbbj is becoming a scary thing. We are a small community and pretty much all swim in the same pool if you get right down to it. I am sure this will not earn me friends but I don't really care at this point. If you are a gentleman that barebacks providers please do not request me. There is talk of more cbj's amongst providers because of the providers that are openly doing bbfs and cid. Thoughts anyone? AND Sweet Heather wondered why I would rather have cof than cim. You can wash your face you can't get rid of HIV if it enters a cut in your mouth.
Thoughts anyone?

Maybe its not scary to anyone else but it is to me. I know I know...clients go bb with wives or girlfriends and providers see them, but those wives and girlfriends probably are not barebacking 3 to 5 guys a week eithier. See where I am coming from? Maybe not but just thought id point that out. Anywho...call me a prude for being concerned. Its just how I feel about it.
I decided to check and see if this was posted in austin yet for an alert but instead found it here good move BritenyBangs that way more people can see it. I'm guessing you are referring to the thread in Houston about a well known Austin provider.

Why can't we, for once, have a serious (and intellectual) conversation about this topic?
I'm sorry, but this is one of those things that, as of late, has me cringing in disgust!
So....to the ladies and gents who partake in bbfs....educate us.
Why? Why would you partake in this behavior? Seriously, maybe I'm missing the boat on something here (not that I truly believe that is the case). But, I'm willing to have an open mind here.
We (ladies and gents) partake in this hobby...we already have existing inherented risks. i.e.... LE, social stigmas, being ripped off, robbed, raped, nc/ns, etc. Yes, some risks are scarier than others, but they are risks, none the less.
Why on earth would any of us compound that with the risk of spreading HIV/STDs??
I'll admit, I'm not a health-care professional. But I love these lines of "I'll show you my clean papers, you show me yours." What about HIV? From what I recall, that doesn't necessarily show up on early-testing. I thought that could lay dormant for months to years before tests positive.
So why?... Is it really worth the 10 minutes of raw pleasure? Is it the taboo?...the pushing of the envelope, in this hobby?
I'm really hoping we can have an open, honest conversation about this.

Right after the pill freed up women for the "Free Love" generation I'm sure STD's were pretty high. But the thing is, all you caught could be cured by a shot at the doctor.
All it takes is getting Gonorrhea once to make a person want to play safely.
Guys who ask for BB ANYTHING show that they don't give a damn about the lady they are seeing. That a guy would take the chance with his life is one thing but what about the little lady at home?
Gals who go BB not only don't care about the guys but she is taking a huge risk to her health and possibly committing murder by giving AIDS to the next client.
It just stuns me that anyone in the hobby world would take chances with AIDS.
That's why I moved over to FBSM.
SAFE SEX IS GREAT SEX!
I understand your choice to stand strong on your way (the safest way in my opinion) You can't get upset with who does what with their body. What does it even matter?
I/you could see a newbie that that fucks BB all day everyday and comes to see me. What's the difference.
Just when you think you are having sex with people "in the same pool", you are really in the same ocean.
Put it in perspective. This job has risks. If you are'nt prepared to realize that, then maybe you should pick another profession.
Testimony: I have been active in the community for almost 5 years now. Never ever ever caught an STD with CFS and BBBJ.
my 2 cents.

Why can't we, for once, have a serious (and intellectual) conversation about this topic?
I blame you, and people like you. In serious intellectual fora participants have a decent grasp of grammar and spelling; you don't even spellcheck. It's disrespectful to post crap like this; inherented, sheesh.
I'm sorry, but this is one of those things that, as of late, has me cringing in disgust!

And this. Microsoft Word does have a grammar check function as well, you know.
Why? Why would you partake in this behavior? Seriously, maybe I'm missing the boat on something here (not that I truly believe that is the case). But, I'm willing to have an open mind here.
Okay; why hobby at all? What's the payoff?

I.E. - id est - means 'in other words', or 'that is to say'. You meant E.G., 'example given'.
Why on earth would any of us compound that with the risk of spreading HIV/STDs??
For a higher payoff, obviously. I agree with the bareback guys that bareback sex is more intensely pleasurable. I disagree that it's worth the added risk, but weighing risk and gain is subjective; likely most of them don't ride a motorcycle year 'round, for example. Why on Earth would you risk being perceived as less educated and intelligent by making up punctuation? Do you really think a second question mark adds emphasis and impact to a question? Is it worth it?
I'll admit, I'm not a health-care professional. But I love these lines of "I'll show you my clean papers, you show me yours." What about HIV? From what I recall, that doesn't necessarily show up on early-testing. I thought that could lay dormant for months to years before tests positive.
You didn't bother to look it up, though, in our serious intellectual conversation. Here's a link for you: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/HIV_test#Window_period
In summary, 3 months yes, years no.
So why?... Is it really worth the 10 minutes of raw pleasure? Is it the taboo?...the pushing of the envelope, in this hobby?
I'd guess specifically raw pleasure, generally whatever brought one to hobby in the first place.
I'm really hoping we can have an open, honest conversation about this.

So you think Alisha's question was off-topic?
I find the idea of bbfs nuts. I know it happens but why the hell would any guy or girl risk it. its just plain stupid in my opinion.

78704, you are way too funny! Is that grammatically correct?
I'll start with stating I fully endorse covering up. I do. It's not worth the risk to not. With that said, I can tell you from a man's perspective, there are a few points against covering. Depending on one's priorities, and how strong the little head rules, these reasons may be enough to go sans latex.
1) dramaticly reduced sensitivity
2) For many, fit is very difficult. If you are larger than average, but not in the magnum league, options are few
3) For some, the offer of BB seems to communicate a 'preference' of the client. There is a pride or ego element that comes into play. He may feel he is 'trusted', or enjoyed more than other clients. What can I say, you're talking about the male ego here.
I will reiterate that, to me, none of these are valid reasons. But you asked what might motivate it.

Well, this is like setting up a straw man. It's like being in opposition to cigarette smoking or substance abuse.
The idea that bbfs is rampant, that a Mongolian horde of hobbyists and providers are out there, all across the land, having bb greek and vaginal (while possibly doing who knows what else BCD that might increase their risk) seems to be a bit of a panicked overreaction to ad(s) by one provider.
I don't doubt that such behavior happens, but just the way some people hide their tobacco use or other vices, isn't it obvious that those that partake and/or insist on bbfs, whatever the venue (indie escorts, agencies, streetwalkers) will also hide their habit?
Granted, to post about how horrible it is does provide some emotional release and venting for the posters that abhor the practice. But it's not going to change what people do BCD. If it were possible to stop people doing what other people thought was reprehensible BCD, there wouldn't be even a hobby.
It's sad to say that the most likely outcome of a thread like this is that it could inspire some sick folks out there to harass Britney or Alisha, possibly with the "revelation" that they've hobbied bareback right before they completed an appointment with them (whether it's true or not). Why? Because some people get a thrill out of rattling cages and stirring pots. Just like those that phone in false alarms and bomb threats in the real world, they live for the occasions when people show what their hot buttons are just so they can push them and watch the show.
1) BBFS happens in the hobby. Don't be naive about it.
2) There are people who are going to do it and there is no way of changing minds
3) A provider or gent who partakes in BBFS will never admit to it
4) Just like anything else in the hobby, there are risks and decisions around those risks. YOU can only control what YOU can control and allow what YOU want to allow
