Austin is a leach upon Texas. It benefits from the wealth that the rest of the State generates.

Austin has always been a fucked up liberal city full of assholes.

I like some of their strip clubs, though.

When I moved to Austin in 1992, I had not clue as to its political nature. Didn't care then and I don't care now. Great live music. Good food. Vibrant. Nice weather. Close to Houston, Dallas, and San Antonio.

And I'm hardly the only one who thinks that way.

I should have added that Austin has a very low crime rate and the rise in median home prices has soared, meaning I have made quite a bit of money on my house investment.
