text content in ads and websites

I recently discovered that some of my text in my ads and website has been plagiarized in different parts of the country. I never knew it was that big of a deal to totally rip off someone else's text verbatim. Ladies, is this a common occurrence? I always thought when choosing a provider pictures matter more.

Gentlemen,
Is the content in a providers bio, ad or about me section really a deciding factor when choosing a provider, or more icing on the cake? How many of you even read that?

Unfortunately, this happens quite frequently.I have had other providers copy and paste the entire text from my ad and put it on theirs. The first time it happened I did contact the provider in a pm she responded that my text was indeed hers.WTF?I even had a lady in such a haste to copy and paste my ad she included the text about being a P411/Date-Check member a a quick check of both sites I found she was not a member. But,a few days later my text was removed I guess she decided to steal some other ladies text. After that I do not even contact the lady I just adjust my ads which is a pain in the ass!

It is very irritating when you put your thoughts and think of the wording of your ads and/or website for some thief to come along and steal your thoughts as if it is okay.Text from websites, ads, and pics being stolen are all very common.

Corrrect EE and Jadalee, it happens frequently. There is not much you can do about it except contact the lady in question. Just consider it a compliment and move on.
That happens so often. It really just comes down to laziness and not being original enough. Like Chica said, take it as a compliment.
Well, in that case compliment accepted!

It's inexcusable. Some of us put a LOT of effort into writing and using words to express who we are.

And plagiarism is rampant. There used to be a website called, "not a brain in my head" (all of the words ran together) and it was a place where an escort could call out those who copied text. But it's not around anymore.

I would suggest writing the lady in question and telling her to change her wording. Don't be surprised if she either denies doing it, or she says that someone else writes her text or finally, she just doesn't change it.

There is/was the older escort that I extremely admired up north. I met her at a conference and was extremely impressed with your poise, etc. Another friend in Austin was at that same conference. My Austin friend is a published writer.

Got a call one day and the older woman had copied, almost word for word, her EROS ad. The next day, I saw a lady in Houston who had copied her ad as well. (It was a VERY well written ad) When I saw the Houston ad, I just fumed. And then contacted my Austin friend and she handled it.

So while we can consider this in one way, a compliment, it's a shitty thing for someone to do and it's stealing. I don't tolerate it when I've seen it done to me or others.

Another issue is when a provider has professional pictures taken! They are property of the photographer in a lot of cases! Serious copy right infringement issues!

As usual, CHICA IS RIGHT... one smart puppy
